We are currently hiring for a Senior Technical Support Engineer- Customer FOCUSED who will be will be dealing directly with our clients around the world and helping them to resolve issues, anticipate problems, develop local best practices.

This will be hybrid work - 2 days from Dublin office with Good Compensation, bonus + Benefits.

Focus in Interview:

  • Resolving application-level and infrastructure issues with technical troubleshooting and analysis methods
  • Proven experience working directly with external customers and managing a live service to an agreed SLA
  • Experience troubleshooting and identifying root causes for mobile apps and distributed JVM web applications
  • Jira OR Salesforce
  • Linux system knowledge with Bash or Python scripting
  • Experience querying SQL or no-SQL databases

Mandate Expertise-

The candidate needs to have good technical and communication skills - they need to have worked with both external and internal customers and managing them.

Analytically minded - able to troubleshoot themselves, figure out problems by looking into things, not just thinking it's the first thing that comes to mind.

Tech: MySQL (OR any other relational database), BitBucket, Git, Linux systems - command lines specifically, they dint need to be an expert!)

Responsibilities

  • Provide tier two technical support services to global customer base and Manage communication with internal and customer stakeholders keeping them updated on issue resolution always.
  • Own and drive end-to-end Incident and Change Management responsibilities and the customer experience throughout the lifecycle of the service request to resolution
  • Assist customers with resolving application-level and infrastructure issues with technical troubleshooting and analysis methods
  • Collaborate and escalate cross functionally with Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Product Management, Service Delivery and Supplier technical teams

Requirements

  • Experience troubleshooting and identifying root causes for mobile apps and distributed JVM web applications
  • Experience working with Jira, Salesforce or other ticketing systems
  • Excellent Linux system knowledge with Bash or Python scripting skills for automating tasks
  • Experience querying SQL and no-SQL databases like MySQL and MongoDB (or similar) to facilitating troubleshooting
  • Experience working in and creating data visualizations in tools like Grafana and Looker (or similar)
